General payment information
How much will I get paid for each task?
We pay a fixed price for each task. You can see how much each task is worth in your Task List, which you can find under your Task Board. The price can vary. Please read our guide How Renumeration is Set for more information.
The fixed price is based on us receiving the fully-completed tasks you have accepted to complete.
Topcontent (Sigyn LTD) agrees to pay the agreed-upon compensation for every successfully performed service.
How long is it from when I’m done with a task until it’s approved (so I can get paid)?
We aim to check the tasks within 48 hours of being submitted. However, sometimes this time period can be longer due to a high amount of tasks that are being delivered. We also need to prioritise according to deadlines. Thank you for your patience – we promise to approve as soon as we can!
Where can I see my Earnings?
You can see your Earnings section. “Approved Balance” shows on how much money you have done tasks. This amount you will be paid in the next payment. “Pending Balance” shows on how much money you have sent tasks on review. Describe the Transaction section and statuses:

How I get paid
You need to connect your payment method to be able to accept payment from us. For that, you need to follow two simple steps.
- 1. Go to your Invoice profile settings under your Account settings and fill in the necessary parts.
- 2. Move on to your payment methods, select a method of how you want to receive payments and fill in details.
Once you have followed these steps, you are ready to get paid from Topcontent. Your invoice will be generated automatically when you were paid.
At the moment just Skrill payment method is available and PayPal for several countries (Japanese and Brazil). But we are working hard and soon you can receive money directly to your bank account.
When will I get paid?
We pay once every month to everyone who has a balance of 10 euro or more. If you have accumulated less than 10 euro, the balance will remain in your account until a total of 10 euro is accumulated.
Please update your user account with your Skrill pay address. This is the email address you used to sign up for the services. Once again – Make sure you have chosen Skrill as the payment method and given a correct payment email address in https://app.topcontent.com/my-profile
What is a Tax ID?
The Tax Identification Number (Tax ID) is different in different countries, here is a list of a number of European Tax ID numbers. If your country is not on that list you should use the number you use when you contact the tax authorities in your country. If you do not have a Tax ID, you should use your National ID number that has been given by your government.
Why does Topcontent need my Tax ID?

Can I have the compensation deposited to my bank account?
Not directly by us. Skrill, however, offers a service which allows transferring the funds into your local bank account. Additional charges might apply.
When will I get paid?
We make payments once a month, at the end of the month. You will be paid for the tasks you have delivered from the 11th of the preceding month until the 10th. The task has to be delivered and approved before payment can take place.
We have this type of pay period because once we receive the tasks, it takes time to proofread them and send them to the client. Once the client approves the tasks and no further changes are required, we’re all set to pay you! This always takes a few days so this is why this pay period makes sense.
E.g. at the end of July, you get paid for tasks that have been delivered between June 11th and July 10th.
There’s no fixed payment date and it can vary between 25th and 31st.
No more time spent sending invoices, since your invoice is generated automatically upon transfer of your money. You can then download the invoices whenever you need them.
Will I have a job contract?
You will be collaborating with us as a freelancer, hence no contract of employment is made. If the quality of your work is not up to the standard that we need it to be, or we find that the freelancer is not respecting our terms and conditions, the account can be removed.
What do I do about taxes?
You should pay taxes in the country where you are resident. You are responsible for ensuring that this is done correctly. We recommend that you contact your local tax office if you have any questions.
Will my earnings automatically end up on my tax return?
No, they will not. You work as a freelancer and are therefore not employed by us. You are responsible for declaring what you earn on your tax return. Everything you are paid is considered a gross payment (tax has not yet been deducted) and you should enter your earnings yourself on your tax return. Unfortunately, we can’t give you professional tax advice.

Can I have more than one freelancer account?
Freelancers can have only one (1) account per user. If we encounter freelancers with multiple accounts, their profiles will be deleted immediately. However, the same user can have multiple skills. E.g writing, translating and proofreading.
